  1. Download and Install GS Server.<\/li>
  2. Start your mount and setup a COM port or find which COM port it\u2019s using in windows<\/li>
  3. Run GS Server from the desktop shortcut.<\/li>
  4. Click the 3 bars to open and configure the settings.<\/li>
  5. Be sure to set COM port, Baud Rate, Mount to SkyWatcher, and Observatory Location.<\/li>
  6. Click the Close button and exit GS Server<\/li>
  7. Open your planetarium program and select an ASCOM connection.<\/li>
  8. In the ASCOM chooser select ASCOM.GS.Sky.Telescope and click Ok or Close<\/li>
  9. Click Connect from your planetarium program.<\/li>
  10. GS Server will start and connect to the mount.  If you do not connect check your settings and click the \u2018Connect\u2019 button.<\/li>
  11. Connect other applications to GS Server as needed.<\/li>
  12. If guiding with PHD2 you will want to check mark the option \u201cReverse Dec output after meridian flip\u201d<\/li>
  13. Please restart GS Server if you changed the hemispheres in the Observatory Location.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    • Computer with Windows 7 SP1 or newer<\/li>
    • Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7.2 installed<\/li>
    • ASCOM Platform 6.4 or later<\/li>
    • Telescope mount that supports the Synta protocol<\/li>
    • EQ Direct cable is preferred if the mount does not have a USB port.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
